MM first photo shoot

In early August, I had arranged a photo shoot in the studio with Schnap Studio.
I had seen his work through FACEBOOK and find it very nice.
Love how he transformed this raw pic into beautiful photos.

so the shoot started around 12.30 as Jay was worried that the children will get cranky.
The girls are pretty shy at the begining so the pose and actions are pretty stiff.

We the adults have to guide and tell them what to do how to smile.
haha ...so the result as expected the pic looked like the one below.


this edited pic of MM is really good. Was it the camera or was it Jay?
MM turned very fast probably within 5 second and this super fast action
turned out to be one of my favourite pic of MM.

She looked so engrossed with her ballet and the pose was so natural.
well captured!

This shoot of MM was so natural. As MM got more comfortable with the camera she was able to smile and

did more lovely shoot. However time is running out for the shoot so not much was captured.

Still it was a nice experienced for everyone.

This boy

is so CUTE!

He is baby K and is around 14months.

This is how he looked after he woke up from his afternoon nap.

He loves his pacifier and his pillow. Without them he can't really sleep well.

art and craft

MM received the box of Garden Mould and Paint set from a friend.
We decided to give it a try.



mix 50ml of water to the powder till it become smooth paste.
next pour the mixture into the mould set and wait for about 30min or less.
It will be hardened and ready to paint.





The painting wasn't as easy as we thought it is.
Mould is too small and despite using a small brush it still doesn't work.



Look at the girls they are so happy and having so much fun.

In the end, it seem like it is more of an adult art and craft session instead of children

this would be better for age 5 and above instead of 3+

Every girl's dream

This was taken on one of the Sunday shopping trip.
The local shopping mall was having a Princess makeover for children below 12.
the condition is spend a amount of SGD80 for this free makeover session.

Both lucky girls MM and WW get a chance to do it.
We waited for 2 hours and was ushed in to the seashell seat for the Princess taboo

Later the girls went to the dressing table for their makeup.

The standard which is blue eye shadow with some lipstick.

all these little things make those girls so happy.

When it is all done, it is the changing time.

the girls are transformed to their favourite disney princess character.

WW choose Snow White and it comes with the slipper and crown.

tada, this is how she look like.

A little disappointment.

The make up artist did not style WW's hair.

In fact it was tied up and we requested that they should let down her hair.

guess WW was so nervous that she did not smile.

Perhap the smile will make her make up disappear.

As for MM, this is her second time so she is more comfortable and

preapared what is going to happen.

the only thing that surprise us is she still choose a cindrella dressup.

We thought probably she would go for Sleeping Beauty or Aerial.

Birthday celebration!

Last Sunday 15 Aug is MM's mother's birthday.

We had brunch at Hilton Hotel- SGD90 with lots of yummy food.

There are lamb chop, beef, chilli crab, lobster, mussel......and tons of dessert and many other

food. Guess it is worth the money but we are too full to continue.

We wrapped up our day with a birthday cake from Pine Garden.

MM's birthday celebration in the school.

it started around 4pm which MM dressed as Cinderella with a big birthday cake.
this cake is about 3Kg pretty huge and MM is so happy with it.


Before the children gather around to sing the birthday song, the teacher suggested a family photo shoot.
Look at WW she is also excited with the celebration. She was waiting patiently in her classroom
waiting for us to pick her up.

The class is too big so we have to divide into 3 photo shoot.
Just realised, the teacher is not included. Ooops.

it ended with distributing the birthday goodies pack to

all the children. Hope everyone did enjoy the day just like MM.

Fun day at the Pair Ris

It was a fun Saturday at the Pasir Ris Park.
The children were at this Health Fair where
there were tons of games for them to play with.
From computer games to simple billard, bowling ,golf and baseball.

The popular one was the long stretch of float with slides.
These made the children jump with joy and excitement.
They kept doing it repeatedly for hours and never get tired.

Later we introduced to this game below.
Initially MM was a little scared and was not willing to go up.
but things changed when she saw K having so much fun with the
dad. So a few cute pic for your viewing.

still enduring and trying their best. In the best K fall down and MM is the winner.

Sport Day

Today is MM's school sport day.

It started at 8.45am with the March on and a 'Oh yeah' Youth Olympic theme song.

Later the parents are given a ticket to allow the children to particpate with

all the activities listed. Such as spoon and balls, passing baton, sport medley,

jumping jack, etc.

the children enjoy themselves thoroughly.

Look at those pic, their happy faces just show it all.

We missed a few of the games so MM was a little disappointed.

the adults are so tired after the event but the children are still

bursting with energy at home.

Fun day at the East Coast Beach

this happy face of MM is so lovely.
she was at the beach with her old classmates.
it is a reunion of her old school and she was so shy meeting her pals.


These are some of the things left behind while MM and WW running toward the sea to get
some water.

It's baby K first time to interact with the sand. He is doing pretty well.

Able to crawl on the sand and he keep talking in baby lanugage which

I can't figure out what he wanted to tell us but he does seem to enjoy himself.

Since K does not know most of the children so her father had rented

a bicycle for an hour SGD10 to cycle around with K and W.

While waiting for K, MM and WW played at the beach. Making sand castle

is one of their favourite activities.

Sorry the photos are not in order. This pic is the finale where everyone gathered

to sing a "happy father day' song for the fathers. it is a superman cake.

tons of mini choco were hide in the cake. I bet the children loves it!

K&K birthday bash

13June is K&K birthday. To celebrate their birthday we booked a hotel at Fairmont Hotel

so that the children can enjoy the pool. We also invited 2 close friends to join in the fun.

As seen from the pics, everyone seem to have a great fun.

The smile on their faces showed it all.

Some of the memorable events:

1. playing the pinata

2. At the prego restaurant, with their faces drawn, opening presents and the staff singing the birthday song

3. eating the cupcakes and playing the balloons in the room

4. fun at the pool with the floats

children nowsaday are really fortunate.

Probably we the adults are trying to fulfill the dream that we longed to have when we are a kid.

shopping at Gingersnap

Today after the art class, we headed down to Raffles City for lunch.
Followed by shopping at my favourite children's store- GingerSnap.
This shop has lots of vintage and cute children's wear.
I just can't resist going in to the shop, touch, feel and buying it.

this dress that MM is wearing is just one of my favourite summer place.
Did you spot the necklace, there are so bright and colourful. Shapes of
apples and duck.cute cute cute.

And look at how MM posed for the camera. She is so lovely.

This is pic of WW is so sweet. I asked her to pose and she gave me

this look. Look at the t-shirt that WW is wearing? The girl with the watermelon.

Lastly we hang out at the 'toy section' look at the both of them,

having fun at teh 'fun house'. did you notice WW? That look..

ha ha aha it is so funny. We wrap up our day with dinner

at 313 sommerset.

every weekend is so busy.

Every weekend is always fun for MM and her cousins.
the parent and aunties always come up with activities to
make it a happy, unforgettable and enjoyable one.

Just like the pic you seen below the fun they had in the month of April and May.

One sunny late Sunday afternoon, we brought them to the beach
for sand playing followed by dinner. MM and WW loves to play with the sand.
I thought they would make sand castle but it turned out that they
enjoyed taking the water and pour it over the sand. That is
the kind of fun.



In April, it was grandpa's birthday.
We went for lunch at one of the chinese restauarnts in Clarke Quay.
Food was not as good as before but the gathering was fun.
Look at how happy MM is taking a pic with grandma.
We later head down to Sentosa and took a look at the new
IR. The casino and Universal Studio are great but the
weather is just too hot so we stayed in the air conditioner area.



Back home finally and the cake cutting ceremony.
Only MM the only one posing for the pic while the rest
were interested in blowing the candles.



This photo taken in on 1May.
WW woke up at 7am and we decided to bring them to
Macdonald for breakfast cum with playground.
This is one of MM favourite - harsh brown which is not
a common snack we give MM. She loves to eat this
crispy potatoes which MMM deem unhealthy.

friday night 23April, my 3 darling nieces were excited with the new arrival of a mattress.

they treated it as a balance bar, walking and standing on it.

I quickly took the camera and took some funny pic of them.

Very funny and lively girls in actions.

Fun day at the beach

last weekend, MM and WW went to East Coast Park. It was pretty cooling in the afternoon.

MM's family cycle and enjoying the weekend later followed by some sand playing.

The children were having fun playing with the water and sand.

Running up and down getting the sea water.

they are so concentrated playing with the sand and did not realised that it

was time for dinner.

We may have to some again next time.
