It's the last day of march

wow how time flies...it is coming to the end of March. This month I was busy working on the busy album. the wedding frames and attending scrapbooking lessons. I didn't have the time to blog about my nieces and nephew which I will try to do so in April. Now to reveal the second mini album that I made. I used Sassfrass Lass Love Crush paper and some October Afternoon. This is the first page of the album. spotted that bear from October Afternoon?
The second page of the album filled with hearts.

I love the last page of the album. I took out one of the 8X8 OA paper and cut out the window.

do a little pop up and this look like a house for the family. Isn't it lovely?
Hope you enjoy viewing it.

new challenge....

Just when I thought I might take a break from scrapping after working out on 2 mini albums.
I was requested by a good friend to make two photoframes on her wedding day.

Task was assigned on Monda and dateline was on Saturday.
How tough it could be right? Since I have been making frames.
Well the challenge pose to me is

1. It is a A4 size frame
2. it is a wedding theme

With these 2 challenge in mind I started to work on my design
and letting my ideas flow.

And tada.......................
this is how it turns out

The very first frame that I completed using webster paper.
Guess you can't see it because I layered it with many other embellishment.
What's your favourite from this frame?

For me: I loving those little vintage that I used.
the card from 'pretty little studio',
the stamp from 'Technique tuesday'
and many many more....

a little close up with the detail. I have fun layering and putting it all together in one piece.

The second frame seen here is a little cute one. I decided to use Crate Paper latest series.
Emma's paper and also 'My neighbourhood'. the bright and cheerful colour makes the frame
look much lovelier. I also add in the bird on the corner from Cosmo Cricket.

this is some of the animals that appeared on this frame. spotted the fawn?
It is from Sassfrass Lass patterrn paper. It seem like it is popping out from the book.
This frame was really a challenge for me. I wanted to add some cute element,
but the border of the frame is too thin. I took out a lot of cutie stuff but none fit
in the frame. I even considered adding a 'house' next to the frame, sadly many
told me not nice. So look like the owls, flowers and those like cute animals
are the only one that blend in
thanks for stopping by and hope you like looking at those frame.

scrapping in the weekend.

The past weekend I was making a mini album for a friend.
A special request for a girl's birthday gift.

With the given photos and the new release paper from my favourite
artist Helen Dardik, I get to work on a cute cute frame using the idea
from Lilibee .

Love love the cover of the album. Owl from October Afternoon chipboard
and the rest are mainly from Imaginisce.
First page of the book....Such a beautiful day...whole family gathering with a tent, cute bear and racoon..

Another lovely page with owl and bird.

One of the candid shots and it was used as one of the page for this album.

This is the last page and my favourite. Lots of little embellishment and stickers
on this fun page.

A close up of the last page.

will blog about the next mini album next time.
thansk for viewing.

Pray and smile a little

The friday news about theEarthquake in Japan was a little shocking.
I saw it in Facebook in the afternoon and back home I was looking at the news.
Felt so sad and distracted.

Everything gone in just a few seconds.
I am thankful my friends who are in Japan are fine.
Still they are many people missing, houses are gone, people swept away......
pretty sad....

However do hope they stay positive.
SMILE...
Life still goes on.
Be strong...
Will say a little pray, hope everything will be better.

daily random and a new frame

Recently I started to get a little creative and made a new frame.
As you can see, a little cheerful and it is pink.....

There are flowers, a whale and a starfish.............still very pink :)

That's an octopus mummy with her darling child. This time I added a pair of eyes
on the mummy octopus that made her look prettier..

And when you piece up everything together it is a pinky ocean with lots of cheerful
sea creatures. I love it so much.

And just to share a quote I saw at the Macdonald. Pretty encouraging and it
makes me work harder for my dreams. Be it scrapbooking or work or life.
Let's do it better since good isn't good enough, we give our best!

Thanks for stopping by:)

Hello.....

anyone out there?
I had disappeared almost a month....:)
time flies.....

Just a update of what's happening....
K and K went to USS...Universal Studio Singapore!!
Look how happy K is. Walking on his own like a little young boy.
He is getting naughty, mischevious and learning to talk...
Recently he started to sing the 'Barney song'...
cool isn't it?
I wonder what he will do next.

MM was invited to her friend's birthday party on 28Feb.
There are magic and balloon show. Food and games are also
included. Look how happy she is with the birthday girl.

During the Chinese New Year, MM was invited to Reiko's 9 years old birthday party.
A simple and pretty fun day meeting up with the big sisters and hanging
out at the playground. Importantly eating birthday cake.

This photo is taken in early February the first day of Chinese New Year the children with the grandparents.

I will try to update more about my new altered frame and other activities when I have the time.
till then..thanks for dropping by.
