I love watercolour

Recently I bought a book about watercolor painting.

I am so fascinated with the colour plus Elizabeth Kartchner is currently

releasing a new collection known as Neapolitan.

It just get me so inspired that I work on this small page.

I used the 'storybook paper' from Enid Blyton add a few watercolour

paint. Later I decided to use the Neapolitan products. The rub-on,

sticker and the phrase garland plus a few stamp.

Tada.......I kind of like it. And will probably explore more on watercolour.

It's the dragon year

In the chinese custom, dragon year is consider a very big thing.

Those born in the dragon year is considered to be smart and leading a good life.

None of my family members are born in the year of Dragon but I have many

dragon friends and yes majority of them are doing pretty well.

So in Jan 22 we started our tradition reunion dinner which is like a thank giving where

everyone gather together and have a hearty meal.

We were so busy eating that none of us are interested to take any pictures.

Our house are decorated in red as much as possible.

One of the items is this painting that was painted by Min Min.

She learnt this from her art class 'RUSH ME NOT'

Another tradition thing is taking a family photo on the first day of the lunar new year.

Trying to get everyone together wasn't an easy task. The children get a little impatience,

Our smile started to get a little stiff and is counting down to end the photo shoot.

And this is one of the few good pictures we had taken.May the water dragon continues to bring

everyone good luck and lots of blessing for the year 2012.

a dream come true

I am really excited and thrilled that I can fly to Los Angeles to attend CHA 2012 in Anaheim.

the best part of the tour other than 'work' I am able to meet my favourite scrapbookers.

There are so many talented scrapbooks while I was walking around the exhibition and I was really lucky and honored to meet and talk to them.

One of my favourite is Elizabeth kartchner. She has a new line known as Neapolitan.

I love everything from this line. It is very Spring feeling and the color are so pastel and beautiful.
