making cards

it's the time of the day when the children say 'thank you' to the teachers.

On this special day, we decided to make some cards for the teachers

who have been teaching MM, WW and K.

It is so simple but well it took me a long time to get it done with them. Are you able to tell which is done by MM, WW or K?

I'm glad that some of this embellishment have been used.

It was with me for a long long time and I decided to let them have some fun.

Still my favourite has to be the rabbit and the girl which are from the Pretty Little Studio.Very vintage and it brings out a little cuteness of the character. The girls love it so much.

These cards has been given to their teacher respectively and surprisingly MM still came back today telling me that we still need to make one more for another teacher.

Look like another crafty session this weekend with the children.

did i told you how I celebrate my birthday?

A very late post on my birthday celebration.
July was the month and it was a very busy busy month for me.
This time MM's mum was going to throw her a 6 years old birthday bash
so it ended up that I was helping out with lots of stuff.

I turned down most of my friends' dinner invites and staying at home
to make some party decoration and last minutes shopping for more
crops and party stuff.

When her party is over, i was very relieved and slept for the weekend and laze around.
Of course catching up with my korean drama. I should post more about my drama craze in my next post.

On the actual day, i bought myself a chocolate cake for the children to eat.
My nieces and nephew are so excited and eager to celebrate the cakes with
the colourful candles.

They sang me a wonderful birthday song. And I guess they enjoy the process of singing
and the below pictures show it all. The children also enjoy blowing the candles. And Oh...
they are so fast i think i did not have the time to make a wish........My once a year thingy that I will do. Make a wish.....u know....Dreams come true right?

the very last step of the birthday celebration is the cake cutting ceremony. My all time favourite. But my nephew K is one step faster than me. He took the knife and cut the cake on my behalf. there it goes....he cut and ate the cake first. So whoses birthday is that?????Still I am thankful and greatful that I have 4 lovely nieces and nephew to be celebrate with me.

Also thankful to all my friends who took their precious time out to have dinner with me and those who bought me fabulous presents and sending me well wishes.

thanks you thank you thank you thank you .......

for the wonderful memories and remembering me !!!

Pretty Little Studio

I used the recycle box from the office and my favourite brand Pretty Little Studio to make this 6.9inchX6.9inch frame.

Instead of looking through all the pictures that I have in my harddrive, i just randomly picked one and decided to scrap this picture with these lovely pattern paper that I have been hoarding for a long long time.

At a close up, it's the cloud that had been cut out and ink it with distress ink.
I also punched some butterflies using Martha Steward punch. As for those cute
animals that are on the frame is from the Hopscotch series. I love cutting the animals
and arrange them .

At the bottom of the frame I punched a lot of circles, embross with 'heart'shapes
applied distress ink and add a few cuties on it. I also stamped a fawn and made some
flowers. Love the misting and folding. It could be better but for the time being this should
be good enough.

thanks you for looking. Do drop by Pretty Little Studio and grab some lovely vintage stuff!
